1. About these terms
These terms form the agreement between you ("you", "the customer") and MoveSure Movers ("we", "us", "our") when you book our removal services. By booking, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes & estimates
Instant quotes are based on the information you provide. Larger moves receive an estimate range which we confirm with a final price afterwards. Prices may change if the actual items, access or distance differ from what was provided. Quotes are valid for a limited period.
3. Booking & payment
Payment is taken securely via Stripe. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.
4. Cancellations & rescheduling
You may change your move date or cancel by contacting us. Changes made with at least 48 hours' notice are free of charge. Cancellations made with less notice may incur a charge to cover costs already committed. Refunds, where due, are processed back to your original payment method.
5. What's included
Our standard service includes loading, transport and unloading of your items. Packing and dismantling/reassembly are included only where you have selected and paid for those options.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide an accurate inventory of items to be moved
- Ensure suitable access and parking at both addresses, and obtain any permits required
- Be present or send a representative on the day
- Back up data, and empty, defrost and secure appliances before the move
- Dismantle and reassemble items yourself unless you have booked that service
7. Items we cannot move
For safety and legal reasons we cannot transport hazardous, flammable, perishable or illegal goods. Please carry high-value items such as cash, jewellery and important documents yourself.
8. Our liability & insurance
We take great care of your belongings and carry goods-in-transit and public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the affected items and excludes items packed by the customer, pre-existing damage or inherent defects, and indirect or consequential losses. Any claim must be made in writing within 7 days of your move.
9. Delays & events beyond our control
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as traffic, severe weather, vehicle breakdown or other force-majeure events. We will always try to keep you informed and reschedule promptly.
10. Damage or loss claims
Please report any damage or loss to us in writing within 7 days of your move so we can investigate and resolve it fairly.
11. Complaints
If something isn't right, contact us at support@movesuremovers.co.uk. We aim to respond within a few working days.
12. Data protection
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
